Hi there! I’m Laura (LG) of LG’s Saucy Suppers. By day, I work as a project manager in marketing but by night I love cooking and working on new recipes. 
I grew up in the great state of Maryland, and yes I do love crab cakes and football. I took a break from the DC area for college and attended Ithaca College in gorgeous Ithaca, NY. The winters were freezing, but the experience was definitely worth it! I returned back to the DC area after college to move across the river into Virginia, where I met my husband and got our dog, Moose. We now live in a suburb of Philadelphia, PA and have a second dog, Peach. When I’m not cooking, you’ll find me passionately cheering on my sports teams (Washington Capitals, Washington Nationals, and Philadelphia Eagles), eating my way through local restaurants, attending concerts, and spending time with my husband and dog (Moose).
I originally started this blog project as a resource for family asking me “Can I get that recipe?” and also so I can remember what I’ve cooked! This is a little different than other cooking blogs — you’re not going to find a big, long story on a recipe post here. My recipe measurements are never exact (except for baking) and my photos are mostly taken on my phone because that’s what I have time to take pictures with while I cook. If there’s something spilled in the background, that’s because I spilled it cooking — not artfully decorated the picture with it. It’s real cooking, which is never exact and never picture perfect.
